Mixed Pairs @ The World’s

Norwood member Jerome Kirby and Vancouver’s Linda Ng have just completed the round robin phase of the World Indoor Championships. All three games went to an extra end with only a single win for the Canadian aspirants. Linda played exceptionally well at lead. The skip however, not so much. That combined with some very memorable and unlucky outcomes (AKA flukes) was all it took to keep them from the quarter-finals. Singles play begins tomorrow.

Pairs & Triples Final Standings

Congratulations to our Pairs League winners Jerome Kirby and Elaine Jones who went undefeated over 24 games giving up only a single tie. Bravo!!  Congratulations also to our Triples League winners of Gerry Chudrick,  Betty Grundy and Shirley Neumann.  Well done to all!!
