Bowls Manitoba has lost a bowls great to cancer. Vince Scaletta was a long time member of Bowls Manitoba. He enjoyed club bowls and was a formidable competitor. Vince was an exceptional man – loved by all and known for much more than his bowls greatness: he was a master gardener, a beloved chef, a teammate, a teacher, a friend and much more. Vince was a hard working supporter of BMI and was the central figure in all the “food fundraisers” like Pasta Night, Christmas in July, and the Jr bowlers Corn Roast. He may be gone, but he will not be forgotten. So long mate, RIP.
