Linden Ridge Leagues

Linden Ridge LBC, located at Soul Sanctuary 2050 Chevrier Blvd, kicks off its winter indoor lawn bowling season on Wednesday, October 12th.  There is still time to enter one or more of our three leagues (Triples, Pairs and Singles).  Don’t delay as the leagues are close to being filled. Deadline for registration is September 30th.  Please email chudrick@shaw.ca.

Triples and Pairs (three bowl) play on Wednesdays in the morning and afternoon respectively.  The season runs for twenty four weeks. Membership is $110.00.  You don’t need a team to enter.  Singles play on Mondays with draws in the morning and afternoon.  Membership is approximately $90.00 and runs anywhere from ten to fifteen weeks depending on number of entries.

Our leagues are developmental in nature and vary in levels of competition.  No matter your level of play or personal goals, Linden Ridge LBC is ideal for new and seasoned bowlers.  Our carpets used in international play test and challenge players to find the right weight and line.

Please note:  LRLBC will be looking for a limited number of spares to fill in for absent players.  In most cases paid members will be used as spares.  If you have questions do not hesitate to contact Gerry Chudrick, Convenor, at 204-298-6760.

Memorable Mixed Pairs

First time MB champions Randy and Angie Kenning rolled-up in Windsor Ont. for their National Championship debut last week. The highly skilled and experienced field provided significant challenges for the nats newbees. The Manitoba rookies fought hard, played well, had fun, made new friends, and came away with lasting memories. Regarding the experience Randy shared “The skill level of the teams in Windsor was incredible. We learned a ton. The players were all so nice. The venue was great. The greens were very consistent, ran fast and were in great shape. The Windsor club and volunteers were great. Can’t say enough about them. Overall, the experience was a 10+. We will build on this experience!!!!!”

Congratulations to Quebec’s Michel Larue and Songsin Tsao – they are the 2022 Canadian Mixed Pairs Champions!
